Non-Profit Group Volunteers
Your group can get involved in the Paracycling Open by cheering on Team USA's medal winners from the 2012 London Paralympics! Any community non-profit, church, school group or sports team is invited to participate, with the chance for your group to win medals for the
largest and most enthusiast cheering section at the events. Your organization can earn up to $1,000! Learn More
Individual Volunteer Positions
The following volunteer positions are currently available:
Course Marshal (18+): Course Marshals are strategically placed on the course along the route. Course Marshals are responsible for ensuring riders are heading in the right direction and to provide an additional safety component for cyclists, keeping the event safe and incident free. Marshals will direct cyclists and assist spectators and pedestrians with event information. Some marshals will also assist the Greenville Police Department at high traffic sections of the course. Transportation is not provided. Some positions will permit you to drive your car to your stationed spot while other positions may be in walking distance. Volunteers will receive t-shirts, snacks, a sandwich and water.
How to Volunteer
New volunteers should apply online. Once your application is completed, you will receive a volunteer login via email where you can go to select your schedule and receive event information.
